Our mission is to prepare students for Success in Life and In Ministry

Founded in 1994, Crossland Christian University (formerly, Crossland Christian Bible College) approaches training with the belief that the King James Version of the Holy Bible is the infallible Word of God, and is trustworthy, authoritative, and sufficient guidance for man's life today and for eternal life with God.

The student body is made up of people from all around the world, of all ages. Both faculty and students pledge to study and live by a code of Christian ethics that surpasses personal feelings, racial barriers, and cultural differences by promoting "good character education."

It is our mission to provide all those willing to "study to show themselves approved unto God" with the very best curriculum possible. We strive to promote a caring, creative environment that will empower students to exhibit positive concepts of Christian and character education. Encouraging them to reach their potential academically, socially, emotionally, and ministerially. It is our focus to prepare students to become "lifelong" learners and responsible citizens as we journey through this diverse life.

At CCU, you will study the history of the Bible, flow through the Creation of the Universe, and land to where we are now living in the earth's stages. You will study Psychology, to help understand behavior in both you and others. You will learn from the Scriptures how to be as "bold as a lion and as harmless as a dove." You will know how to "Find Your Purpose" and will learn how the "Gifts of the Holy Spirit" operate and how to recognize counterfeits.

Here at CCU, we strive to be a school in which all who attend will acquire the skills, knowledge, and attitude necessary to carry on the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. Together, we spread the truth of God throughout the World.

Crossland Christian University is a place where expectations for academic success and personal responsibility are high, where each person is supported in meeting or exceeding those exceptions.

The Best Is Yet to Come!

Dr. Joyce Wolford
Founder

Dr. Wolford, Author and Founder of Crossland Christian University, served as Chancellor from 1994 until she retired in 2023.

Dr. Wolford was taught by a Spirit-filled mother from early childhood and made a personal decision to serve Jesus Christ in her early twenties.  Saved and baptized in a Detroit Michigan Baptist Church, she visited various churches analyzing beliefs and doctrines in her search for truth.  She is convinced the answer to man's pursuit of success and happiness can be found in the Word of God.

She is the mother of two daughters, who serve their community as grade-school teachers. Dr. Joyce has studied the King James Bible for over 60 years and has appeared on television programs and hosted local radio shows. Her graduate studies include World Religion, Christian Psychology and Counseling, Jewish History, and Greek Philosophy.  She has degrees in Theology, Finance and Real Estate.

Dr. Joyce declares the true Word of God is "fact" and that true Theology and true Science agree.  She states the study of true Theology is the "rational inquiry" into God's relationship to mankind.

Today, Dr. Joyce is enjoying retirement. She continues to study and author articles on the Word of God, as well as other relevant topics.  Be sure to visit her column in the CCU "Good News" monthly newsletter.

TESTIMONIALS

Our students love us

I saw the value of Christian Education when I watched the way my daughter changed while attending CCU. She invited me to attend a class. I had lost a loved one and was so overcome with grief I didn't think I could accomplish anything. I soon realized the school was exactly what I needed. It is difficult to express how much I appreciate CCU.

Other Pastors were amazed when they saw the recognition I was awarded when traveling to other countries. Thanks to my degree from Crossland Christian University, I am able to accomplish many things that were not possible before.
Pastor MWM
I did a complete 180-degree turnaround after attending CCU. One of my negative character traits was lack of self-control. The school taught me good study habits that helped me take control of my life and my habits seemed to fall into place. Attending CCU changed my life.

I'm Kelly Van Zant and the President at Crossland Christian University. I started taking classes at CCU in 1998 earning my third degree, Master of Arts in Theology, in 2009.

My children's great grandmother INSISTED I meet Dr. Joyce, Crossland's Founder. After many months of Grandma Ruth's persistence, I met Dr. Joyce, enrolled in the school and it forever changed my life.

The Scriptures have guided me through life's good times and challenging times. I am grateful for CCU and honored to serve as President and continue Dr. Joyce's good work.
